2. Location Introduction – A Quiet Space Nestled in a Peaceful Residential Neighborhood
Grace House is located just a short walk from the vibrant student district and night market near National Taiwan Normal University. However, it sits on the opposite side of the main street from the bustling area, allowing residents to enjoy a peaceful and quiet living environment despite the convenience of the lively neighborhood.
It is located right next to National Taiwan Normal University (the red-brick building on the left) and occupies the 4th floor of a retro, Taiwan-style apartment building.
The surrounding area is a quiet residential neighborhood with a small park nearby, making it the perfect choice for those who want a convenient yet peaceful living environment.
There are also plenty of cafes nearby that are perfect for studying or remote work, making everyday life both convenient and comfortable!
3. Shared Spaces – A Calm Atmosphere Featuring Wooden Accents and Antique Furniture
The shared spaces include the entrance, living room, dining area, and kitchen. Each area features wooden accents and is furnished with antique-style furniture, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere throughout.
The entrance follows a Japanese-style layout, where you remove your shoes before stepping inside. Since some houses allow shoes indoors, this style is especially appreciated by Japanese residents. The entrance is also equipped with an intercom system, enabling you to remotely unlock the door on the first floor. This makes it convenient for deliveries like Uber Eats to be brought all the way up to your apartment.
The dining area seats six people, providing a space where residents can enjoy meals together and socialize. There is also a large TV, perfect for watching sports or other programs as a group. A nice touch is that the landlord regularly places snacks and fruits on a central plate for everyone to enjoy. The official usage hours are from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, but as long as you keep noise to a minimum, you’re welcome to use the space at any time.
The living room offers a space for casual conversations and studying. It is equipped with power outlets and USB ports, making it convenient for using laptops and other devices.
At this prime desk, you can study or work while enjoying a view of the National Taiwan Normal University campus, creating a café-like atmosphere. Feel free to use the refrigerator and coffee maker as well.
The shared kitchen is fully equipped with convenient appliances such as a microwave, toaster, and rice cooker.
Currently, use of the stove is restricted, which helps minimize concerns about odors and smoke, keeping the environment consistently clean.*
*This policy was implemented after complaints from residents regarding strong-smelling or oily dishes like curry and tom yum goong being cooked in the shared kitchen. Therefore, cooking with open flames or stove use is now prohibited in the communal kitchen.
The kitchen is also equipped with a water purifier that provides hot water, so there’s no need to buy bottled water! The landlord also restocks tea bags, sugar, and salt for use in the shared space.
Mugs and tableware are freely available for use; just make sure to wash them clean and return them to their original place afterward. The hygiene management is thorough, so you can feel at ease.
Here are some additional facilities and highlights for your reference.

The shared washing machines and dryers are available for residents who do not have them installed in their rooms. Since Rooms A and B come with washing machines that include dryers, the shared machines are primarily for use by residents of Rooms C, D, and E. The washing machines are free to use, while the dryers cost 10 TWD per cycle. Residents of Rooms A and B can also use the shared machines if their in-room appliances are not functioning, making it a convenient backup option.

Cleaning supplies placed in the living room are also available for use—just ask the landlord when you need them. (Please note that consumable items must be provided by yourself.)

|
Since the landlord lives on the second floor, issues like rent payment or any problems that arise can be resolved with just a knock on the door!

The living room is equipped with surveillance cameras, allowing any unauthorized entry or rule violations to be quickly detected.

4、Room Introduction – A Look at the Five Unique Rooms with Different Facilities and Rent Prices
★Room A https://papago-taiwanheya.com/house/house_detail/3DA568
All the necessary amenities are fully provided inside each room, allowing you to start your new life stress-free from day one and enjoy your own peaceful time at ease. Each room is equipped with furniture such as a chair, desk, refrigerator, TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as a private bathroom, washer-dryer, and even a kitchen. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the lush, green campus of National Taiwan Normal University.
★Room B https://papago-taiwanheya.com/house/house_detail/3DA577
Like Room A, Room B is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The room is slightly larger and more spacious than Room A. Although the view from the window overlooks the sidewalk, there are no obstructions in front, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the room.
★Room E https://papago-taiwanheya.com/house/house_detail/3DA571
This room is a step below Rooms A and B, lacking a kitchen and washer-dryer inside the room. However, it is fully furnished with appliances and has a private bathroom, making it a functional and efficient living space, perfect for those who prefer a streamlined lifestyle without unnecessary extras.
★Room D https://papago-taiwanheya.com/house/house_detail/3DA572
This is the most affordable room in the house. The room is smaller compared to the others, and while the bathroom is private, it is not located inside the room—you will use a bathroom in the living area that is exclusively reserved for you (no one else can use it). Although the compact size and separate bathroom may be slightly less convenient, this room is recommended for those who want to live here while keeping costs down.
★C室 https://papago-taiwanheya.com/house/house_detail/3DA578
This is a dormitory-style room designed for families or friends to live together. It can accommodate up to five people but can also be used comfortably by one to three individuals, offering a relatively spacious environment. The bathroom is private but not inside the room; instead, you will use the dedicated bathroom located just across from the hallway. There is also a private rental plan available for those who wish to rent the entire dormitory room alone. Please feel free to inquire about this option.
