Ever find yourself wondering when the garbage truck in Taiwan will come by, or thinking, ‘Wait, where’s the drop-off spot? My place doesn’t even have a garbage area…’? No worries! There’s a super handy app that shows you exactly where and when the truck will be, and how to toss your trash—quick and easy!

STEP1: In Taipei, you can check exactly where the garbage trucks will stop with the app “台北倒垃圾”!

STEP2: Once the download is complete, make sure to allow location access!
If you choose “Allow while using the app,” the app will automatically show you where the nearest garbage truck is as soon as you open it.

STEP 3: Tap the nearest bus icon.
When you tap on the bus icon, you can see the exact location, how far it is from you, the time, and even what type of trash will be collected that day.

Just a heads-up: there’s no garbage collection on Wednesdays and Sundays.
